Biketober: NYC DOT Celebrates 1500 Miles Of Vehicle Travel Lanes Removed For Cyclists

BIKETOBER: NYC DOT COMMISSIONER RODRIGUEZ CUT RIBBON ON BRONXDALE AVENUE REDESIGN, NEW YORK CITY’S 1500TH BIKE LANE MILE  

NYC Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez, elected officials, and advocates celebrated New York City reaching 1,500 bike lane miles by cutting the ribbon along Bronxdale Avenue, a major redesign project in the Pelham Parkway neighborhood that includes new protected bicycle lanes and significant pedestrian improvements.
