On Staten Island TONIGHT At 6:30: NYC Ferry Optimization Plan Public Input Session Including St. George Ferry Route

Share

After years of advocacy, we finally have the opportunity to secure a direct ferry connection from Staten Island to Brooklyn! As a community there are two very important steps necessary to stay informed and have your voice heard.

The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) as part of their 2025 NYC Ferry Network Optimization Plan, is proposing a new fast ferry route from St. George to Bay Ridge. This is the first major systemwide update in the ferry’s history.

Tonight at 6:30 PM, NYCEDC will be hosting a virtual public information session to present the proposed changes and get feedback directly from the community. This is our chance to demonstrate just how much this connection matters to Staten Islanders!

Please use the link below to register. Also, please fill out the feedback survey to express your support as they need to get as much feedback as possible!
