On Thursday, August 31st, at 11:00am inside the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office located at 130 Stuyvesant Place, Staten Island, New York 10301, members of the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office will hold a press conference alongside the NYPD, local treatment providers, and overdose survivors and families in recognition of National Overdose Awareness Day.

Led by Executive Assistant District Attorney for Investigations Tom Ridges, the press conference will also feature members of our office’s Alternatives to Incarceration Unit as we provide an update on state of the overdose crisis on Staten Island, and what efforts are currently underway in the borough to hold poison peddlers accountable and divert those struggling with addiction into life-saving treatment and recovery programs.
