Spotlight: Magdalena Rymut

Hello readers,

I am honored to write this week’s Fitness Spotlight on the skilled and renowned trainer Magdalena (Mags) Rymut. I first met Mags while training alongside her at the famous Bond Street Equinox Gym. I was instantly impressed by her amazing poise and extremely effective training style; she, like myself, features a hybrid training style of combining old school grit with modernized science—a best of both worlds approach in assisting the client to materialize their health and wellness goals into fruition.

Mags and I have also recently decided to join forces and create a revolutionary new fitness brand called Solstice Strength; where the greatest fitness and medicinal minds from all around the planet come together to create the ideal online programming for the client—at a fraction of the price standard trainers cost nowadays. More about Solstice Strength will be featured in future articles, including more fitness tips and exercises!

Mags is one of the most certified trainers that I’ve come across—holding nearly a dozen certifications in Kettlebell, Strength & Conditioning, prenatal/postnatal specialties, and a multitude of other beneficial techniques.

It was my esteemed pleasure to pick my dear friend’s brilliant fitness mind a bit…

1) What made you want to get into the fitness industry?

“I always had a passion for some type of movement (it all started with dance); then I started to workout in the gym when I was 18 years old.

Training helped me with building confidence and finding balance in life in so many different ways. Eventually I could never imagine fitness not being a part of my life, and I wanted to help others find this passion for health and fitness.”

2) What makes your training unique and effective?

“First of all, I am very consistent and personal. I always make time for my clients and I care about their overall well being. I like to find out specific things about them, about their lifestyle, goals, likes, and dislikes. Based on that I create a plan that is doable for them but challenging at the same time. I help them spend this time in the most efficient and enjoyable way, so that they can get to their goals quicker and happier.”

3) What are some of your favorite exercises to do with your clients?

“Mostly compound movements like dead-lifts, pull ups, rows, and, of course, plenty of core-work!!”

4) What are your personal fitness goals?

“To stay healthy and pain free for life! Looking good and feeling good! Being able to enjoy life, nights out and my travels, but also keep my body in good shape!”

5) Please share with us a quote that you love…

“The quality of your life is determined by how peaceful & joyful you are within yourself.” ~Sadhguru

Thank you Mags!

Wishing everyone health and happiness,

Andre Zemnovitsch
