Press Release Re Nicole Malliotokis, Others Win By Conservative Party of Staten Island

Anthony DeGuerre, Nicole Malliotakis, & Michael Tannousi Win Conservative, Repub Primaries; Max Rose Uncontested Dem, Indy Candidate

The Conservative Party of Richmond County congratulates Anthony DeGuerre on his victory in the Conservative Party Primary for New York State Assembly, 63rd Assembly District.

The Kings and Richmond County Committees of the Conservative Party also congratulate Nicole Malliotakis and Michael Tannousis on their Republican primary victories for Congress and State Assembly, respectively.  Both candidates were previously endorsed by the Conservative Party and will now appear on both the Conservative and Republican lines in this November’s general election.

“Our slate of candidates this year was the work of a collaborative effort with our friends in the Republican Party,” said Richmond County Chairman David Mario Curcio.  “Now more than ever, it is important that Conservatives and Republicans stand united in support of candidates that will defend life, liberty, and the greatness of our country.  We are very pleased that Nicole Malliotakis and Michael Tannousis will be part of that joint effort as candidates for Congress and State Assembly, respectively.”

“I want to congratulate Nicole Malliotakis and Michael Tannousis on their victories in the Republican primary,” said Kings County Chairwoman Frances T. Vella-Marrone. “The Conservative party is proud to have them on our line and we now stand as a unified team ready to take on their liberal Democrat opponents.  I am confident that together we will be victorious in November.”

“At our party’s nominating convention in February, Anthony DeGuerre received an overwhelming endorsement from the County Committee and a unanimous endorsement from the Executive Committee,” said Chairman David Mario Curcio.  “His challenger in the primary was seeking only to split the vote and re-elect the Democrat incumbent.  With Democrats promoting an anti-American communist agenda, we need candidates like Anthony DeGuerre who will champion the work of our law enforcement officers and defend our freedoms of religion and assembly, the right to keep and bear arms, and the lives of unborn children.  He is one of the most conservative candidates we have ever endorsed and we are very proud to have him carry our party banner this year.”

“With less than a month to prepare for the primary, I’m proud of the work done by the Conservative Party and our campaign volunteers to rally the district on such short notice,” said Anthony DeGuerre.  “For all of the conservatives who went out to vote for our campaign, thank you!  The role of government is to protect life, liberty, and property.  In the next few months, I plan to work hard to win the election in November and be a Conservative Republican voice for our Assembly district.”

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd and Conservative Party endorsed candidates will appear on Row C.  This includes Anthony DeGuerre, candidate for the New York State Assembly, 63rd Assembly District.

Editor’s Note: The Associated Press expects a delay in vote tabulation and race calls because a large number of voters cast absentee ballots. These ballots will be tabulated on June 30.

Democrat incumbent Max Rose was uncontested in his race on both the Democrat and Independent Party lines.  Nicole Malliotakis was uncontested in her race on the Republican Party line.
