Just Rolling Through – A Trip On Father Capodanno Blvd On A Summer Day

View the next installment in the Staten Islander News Organization’s Just Rolling Through series explores Father Capodanno Blvd.

In this video, we travel along Father Capodanno Blvd, along the South Shore of Staten Island.

Father Capodanno Blvd is the primary route that connects all of the beach neighborhoods on the South Shore of Staten Island. It goes from Bay Street where Fort Wadworth is located, all the way to Miller Field, which denotes the last beach in that stretch of beaches.

The beaches that we drive past on Father Capodanno include South Beach, Midland Beach, and the Ocean Breeze Fishing Pier. Some of these beaches are quite beautiful, and there are lifeguards at most of them, where swimming is allowed during the summer months.
