Curtis Sliwa Takes Grassroots Campaign Mainstream, Tours Harlem NYC Streets Where Guardian Angels Founder Is Well Known

NEW YORK CITY:  ​Mayoral Candidate Curtis Sliwa is gaining considerable traction throughout the City as his Grassroots Campaign moves mainstream, with rallying support across all party lines and demographics.

Sliwa’s walking tour on Wednesday shows his popularity in Harlem, with residents enthusiastically greeting him while reminiscing about Sliwa’s decades of work for the people of NYC.

“No longer can we stand by and watch our beloved City fall prey to crime, anarchy and filth,” Sliwa said. “Quality of life in New York has been especially hard hit in recent times.”

From drug use to dirty streets, to bikes terrorizing citizens on sidewalks, to unsafe subways, Sliwa and his supporters will address the hot button issues that will make or break New York’s future.

“We want New York City to be what it was at its best. The time has come to reclaim our heritage as the Greatest City in the World,” Sliwa said. “We can do it together if we embrace change.”
