Conservative Party Of Richmond Holds Committee Election, Re-Elects David Mario Curcio, Fellow Officers


The County Committee of the Conservative Party of Richmond County has once again unanimously re-elected David Mario Curcio as County Chairman at its Re-Organizational Meeting held on Saturday, October 1, 2022.  The county committee also elected other officers, filled vacancies, and adopted its Rules and Regulations as part of the Re-Organizational process that takes place every two years. 


“I would like to thank the County Committee for its reaffirmation of confidence in my leadership of the county organization,” said Chairman David Mario Curcio. “Since becoming County Chairman in 2019, the party has contributed to numerous electoral successes, including those of Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, State Senator Andrew Lanza, State Assemblyman Michael Reilly, State Assemblyman Michael Tannousis, City Council Minority Leader Joseph Borelli, and multiple members of the elected judiciary.  In addition, the party has proudly maintained unwavering support for President Donald J. Trump and the America First agenda.”


In addition to the re-election of Chairman Curcio, the committee unanimously re-elected George S. Wonica as Vice Chairman, Carolyn P. D’Amato as Secretary, and Angela M. Mirizzi as Treasurer. Both Chairman Curcio and Vice Chairman Wonica also serve as at-large members of the executive committee of the New York State Conservative Party, representing Richmond County.

This year’s general elections are scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2022, with all Conservative Party nominees on Column “C” of the ballot.
