DA McMahon Announces Multiculrural Food & Culture Festival At Sacred Heart Church

District Attorney Michael E. McMahon, CEO of COJO of Staten Island Scott Maurer, Staten Island Hate Crimes Task Force to Host Multicultural Food & Culture Festival at Sacred Heart Gym Sunday

The Day will feature Food and Performances from Staten Islanders Hailing from Diverse Cultures and Backgrounds in Effort to Spread Understanding of all our Borough has to Offer, Combat Hate through Exposure to Food and Culture

On Sunday, February 26th, District Attorney Michael E. McMahon, CEO of COJO of Staten Island Scott Maurer, Co-Chairs of the Staten Island Hate Crimes Task Force will host a Multicultural Food and Culture Festival at the Sacred Heart School Gym located at 301 N Burgher Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10310.

Free of charge and open to the public, next week’s event will kick off at 1:00pm before concluding at 4:00pm.


The Festival is being held as part of the Task Force’s efforts to combat hate and promote tolerance and diversity by showcasing the many cultures and cuisines that make Staten Island so special. Sunday’s event will feature donated food from over a dozen vendors and community organizations as well as dance and art performances from local community groups.
