Dine Out at Applebees for Mental Health Awareness Fundraiser

NAMI NYC Staten Island will have a table at the fundraiser for Mental Health Awareness hosted by Felicia Gambino, founder of The Magician’s Project. The Magician’s Project is a new social impact initiative aimed at increasing suicide prevention efforts and mental health awareness.

The fundraiser will be on Thursday, May 11th at Applebees in the Bricktown/Charleston Plaza on Staten Island. Throughout the day, 20% of food sales will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Between 6-9pm, we will be hosting an open mic where local performers will be coming and showcasing their talents. During the open mic, we will discuss the benefits of NAMI NYC Staten Island and talk about our support groups and classes. We will also have a table in the front lawn of Applebees with all of our resource pamphlets.
