NYC has officially announced the lineups for the FREE “5X5 Block Party Series” and live conversations between leaders in hip hop! Enjoy incredible music alongside art installations, food vendors, interactive experiences, and talks!

*Update: Staten Island venue has been changed to Stapleton Waterfront Park

On Staten Island August 11th, 5×5 Free Block Party Series celebrating 50 years of Hip Hop will be coming to Castleton Avenue.

These free block parties and events—one for each borough, going from afternoon into night—will feature hip-hop royalty, renowned DJs, street art by @lisaprojectnyc, curated markets by @thelayoutco and more headliners to be announced. Sign up for lineup and event details; the dates and locations are as follows:

August 5: Fulton Street and Washington Avenue, Brooklyn

August 6: Vernon Boulevard and 41st Avenue, Queens

August 11: Castleton and Davis Avenues, Staten Island

August 12: 1520 Sedgwick Ave., The Bronx

August 13: 125th Street and Eighth Avenue (Frederick Douglass Blvd), Manhattan
