Pope Francis Announces Day Of Prayer, Fasting, Penance For Peace

Pope Francis calls us to pray and fast for our brothers and sisters in the Middle East tomorrow, October 27th, as the Israel-Hamas War continues to escalate. In just a week and a half, over one million have been displaced and over 4,200 have lost their lives.

Join your Relevant Radio brothers and sisters worldwide, “all those who have at heart the cause of peace in the world”, as we pray, fast, and do penance for an end to the conflicts in the Middle East. We pray that, in the words of Pope Francis, “May weapons be silenced, and let us heed the cry for peace of the poor, the people, the children. I urge believers to take just one side in this conflict: that of peace. But not in words — in prayer, with total dedication.”

We will be praying and offering penance for peace during our daily Noon Mass, Divine Mercy Chaplet (3 PM CT), and Family Rosary Across America (7 PM CT). We hope that you will join us for this important intention.
