Sen. Gillibrand Announces Millions In Home Energy Assistance

WITH WINTER FAST APPROACHING, GILLIBRAND TO ANNOUNCE MILLIONS IN HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE FOR NEW YORK FAMILIES, PUSH TO GET MORE AID TO THOSE IN NEED

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will host a video press conference to announce millions in federal funding she helped secure for New York through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

The money will help thousands of households across the state afford their heating bills and make cost-effective home energy repairs this winter. She is also calling for additional funding for LIHEAP to make sure that as many qualifying families as possible can get the assistance they need to stay safe and warm throughout the coming months.
