CMB GROUP’S ANUAL HIP-HOP CELEBRITY CHRISTMAS TOY GIVE-AWAY

 

Our photographer, Sean Fitzpatrick, provided the photos in the slideshow below. Mrs. Claus also made a special appearance along with Santa Claus: 

 

On 12/22/25 Dr. Carlos M. Barrera from CMB Group in collaboration with Merrick Academy- Queens Public Charter School held its fifth annual Christmas toy give-away at Merrick Academy- Queens Public Charter School.

This event was a huge success and was able to provide approximately 400 toys for the children of the school community. The event consisted of an evening filled with fun; it included music by DJ Alex Ratikan, toy giveaways, dancing, games, networking, and holiday spirts!

In attendance were local NY artists: Kyle Richh, B-Jack$, Mando El Pelado, and HolliTv, giving away toys to the children and performing some of their musical hits. Dr. Barrera continues to make it his mission to give back to the community; he is very much active in community outreach efforts, pro-bono work, and community service. Below is a excerpt from Dr. Barrera’s speech/interview on this date:

“I am most grateful this holiday season to be in a position to give-back. The holiday season can be joyous for some but saddening to others, and this specific reason is why we do the work we do. The smile on a child’s face when receiving a toy is the driving force behind what we do, for these annual toy drives.”
