Community leaders to gather on Staten Island for a day of conversation, recognition, and practical solutions

Jentuby’s 2026 Conference on October 24 will bring together residents, community leaders, and advocates to address issues that affect our everyday lives from mental health and child abuse prevention to economic empowerment and family well-being.
“We invite Staten Islanders to join us for meaningful conversations, practical insights, and opportunities to connect with others who care about our community. Guests will also enjoy a three-course meal and a special performance by Stephanie Federico. Come ready to learn, connect, and be inspired to help build a safer, stronger future for our families.”

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Jentuby for Women Empowerment & Eradication of Child Abuse, Inc. will host its 2026 Annual Conference on Saturday, October 24, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The conference theme is “Empowering Families. Protecting Children. Transforming Communities.”
The gathering will bring together community members and leaders for conversations about issues affecting families, including child abuse prevention, mental health and emotional wellness, systemic racism, support for veterans, women’s empowerment, youth leadership, and economic opportunity. Attendees can also expect community recognition and a three-course meal.
“Strong families and safer communities grow when people come together to listen, share resources, and work toward practical solutions,” said Jennifer Clement, President of Jentuby. “We welcome community members, professionals, and partners to join us for an afternoon of meaningful conversation and connection.”
The program is expected to include legislators, legal and mental health professionals, educators, faith leaders, nonprofit organizations, business leaders, and community advocates. Jentuby’s conference will also recognize individuals and partners making an impact in the community.
