Mariano Rivera, Baseball Hall of Famer will be making a special appearance to celebrate the arrival of Mo’s Heat, his new line of Officially Licensed Major League Baseball hot sauces Saturday, October 10 at the ShopRite of Forest & Richmond located at 985 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.

During the event, Rivera will meet fans, pose for photos and introduce the collection of sauces inspired by iconic baseball pitch types.

ShopRite of Forest & Richmond, owned and operated by Mannix Family Markets, will host a special in-store appearance by baseball legend and Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera to celebrate the launch of Mo’s Heat, his new line of officially licensed Major League Baseball hot sauces. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Rivera, take photos and sample the new hot sauce collection, which includes three sauces, each inspired by iconic baseball pitch types and designed with distinct flavor personalities:

• The Cutter is the signature sauce, a balanced blend that starts smooth, then builds into a satisfying, lingering heat. Best paired with soups, pastas, meat, fish, shellfish, sandwiches, or even rice and pizza.
• The Curve is bright and herbaceous with a crisp but balanced heat from green habaneros. The freshest of the heats, it pairs well with all your favorite foods.
• The Sinker is the most approachable sauce with a richer and more rounded flavor, featuring fully ripened peppers with gradual heat and subtle sweetness. Can be best paired with meat, pastas, fish, shellfish, sandwiches or grilled vegetables.
