Experienced, Qualified Salesperson Wanted For Staten Island Media Company

We are seeking a person experienced and confident in sales and marketing to call upon local Staten Island businesses to present them with a number of services and products that we offer.

Being a part of this local community will be helpful for the ideal candidate, but residents from the surrounding metro area will be considered as well. The items that you would be selling all provide the opportunity for a recurring income that will grow over time as you add new clients to your list.

This is a commission-only sales position, where you earn for every sale you close.

The first item the salesperson will be selling are listings in the directory for a local Staten Island newspaper. They provide a community service in the form of a local-focused newspaper that is (and will always be) free to read. At this time, the newspaper is selling directory listings for Staten Island companies that want to market their services to the readership of the paper.

Commissions on the directory listing sales range from $10-25 per sale for the salesperson. This is a recurring, monthly commission. As you add more companies to the directory, you continue to get a commission each month for each company that remains in the directory.

In addition to directory listings, banner advertising is also available to those companies that would prefer a more traditional form of advertising. Commissions on banner advertising ranges from $50-200 to the salesperson for each sale.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in sales, and be comfortable cold calling, as well as meeting with CEOs, entrepreneurs, and others in the corporate environment in person.

Please note that this is a commission based position, with a generous and competitive compensation for each sale you make as described above, along with the recurring income from each customer.
