Todt Hill-Westerleigh Library Branch Closing For Renovations Starting December 5th
The New York Public Library’s Todt Hill–Westerleigh Library will be closed for approximately two weeks, beginning December 5, to facilitate construction of a new circulation desk in the main lobby area. The branch will reopen on Monday, December 19.
During this temporary closure, Sunday service will relocate to the Richmondtown branch and patrons are encouraged to use the following nearby branches:
- Richmondtown Library (200 Clarke Avenue) ♿ Fully accessible
- Mariners Harbor Library (206 South Ave) ♿ Fully accessible
- West New Brighton Library (976 Castleton Avenue) ♿ Fully accessible
All items on hold will be kept at Todt Hill–Westerleigh with extended pickup dates. For holds being placed before the closure, it is recommended that you select a different location for pickup. Future holds can be sent to an alternative location selected by patrons using their account at The New York Public Library website.
