SENATOR LANZA & JCC OF STATEN ISLAND TO HOST ANNUAL RESOURCE FAIR FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL & DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Editor’s note: Staten Islander also covered this event when it occurred last May. This event is important for those residents who are affected by these disabilities, as it can let them know the resources that are available to them that they may not know about.  There are quite a few options for Staten Islanders with these conditions.  Previously, The Guild For Exceptional Children received $2 Million to create a more accessible community space.
Senator Lanza and the JCC of Staten Island are sponsoring their ANNUAL RESOURCE FAIR FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL & DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 9:30am-12:30pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with service providers one-on-one and attend roundtable discussions. In addition, there will be Government and nonprofit organizations dedicated to serving the special needs community.
Every year, hundreds of Staten Islanders attend this informative session to learn about the resources available to their loved ones.
Learn More About:
