President Trump Meets with S. African President; Elon In Attendance, Unamused

Share

Drawn in For a Better Deal

President Trump was in historically epic form yesterday in the Oval Office.

His actions transcended politics and affiliation; what our President did during his meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa was unprecedented.

Drawn into a meeting seeking a better trade deal with the U.S. after the White House “housed” the world (or was it “hosed”?), resetting our terms of trade with all international trade partners, Ramaphosea probably wasn’t expecting what happened next.

Exports from South Africa will incur a 30% tariff, once the President’s pause on the new comprehensive import tax schedule ends in July, and the South African President was eager to do some wheeling-and-dealing of his own.

He probably expected things to go a  little bit differently that day…

The tone was light and friendly, and everyone was smiling and laughing…

…until they weren’t.

Movie Time in the Oval Office

During the meeting, President Trump, master of interior space, transformed the Oval Office into a cinema. Brilliant.

What are going to see today? I hope it’s not boring!

Is it Goodfellas? Braveheart? I wonder! The President supposedly likes those films, but Bravehart is sooo long.

The lights dimmed, everyone sat back, and all that was missing was the popcorn and Sno-Caps.

Maybe the film the President was screening was akin to a cheesy industrial training film, a Soviet-style-cum-MAGA masterpiece of pure persuasion, demanding S. African industry to migrate to the U.S. of A, complete with Elon’s memes? This was my guess.

Such suspense!

Elon Was There and Watched the Film

Even Elon Musk, South African visionary, was in attendance.

It was standing room only, friends, so Elon and many others stood.

But today it was not about him or DOGE.

How could Mr. Musk miss this important meeting between the president of his country of origin and the leader of the country he lives in now?

Major media outlets panned to Mr. Musk numerous times during the presentation.

Elon was not his usual irreverent, not-so-serious self. Today, he was all business.

Bias and Hate Is Just Bias and Hate

President Trump requested, “Turn the lights down. Turn the lights down and just put this on…”

The film began. The images and audio were extremely troubling to take in. I wanted to puke, watching the recap on the major media newsreels.

The thrust of the video montage was that White people in South Africa were the target of an ongoing hate campaign perpetrated by property-theft-cult stalkers, essentially, that cheer for the White farmers’ deaths.

Did they stop at cheering? Hell, no! They butchered many White farmers, in fact. Poor, innocent people who just happened to be the scapegoat.

There was one scene that showed a giant stadium filled with people, shouting in scary unison, “Kill the Boer [White man]!”

Those on stage in the stadium gathering even danced around and made sounds of guns going off and even made the hand gesture of a firearm.

The stark visuals hearkened back to Hitler and other rabid racists. Was this a Hitler rally in 1938? No; this was filmed in the modern era.

Anyone out there, whether Left, Right, Center, apolitical –whatever– should be rightfully upset watching the video.

Do Boer Farmers Being Stalked to Death Constitute Genocide?

If you’re not concerned about poor White Boer farmers in South Africa being oppressed, but you care very deeply about issues affecting Black people, worldwide, and perhaps even White folks in America who are stuck in the underclass, you should ask yourself some important questions.  You’re not being consistent.

Why do these people matter less? Regardless of whether what’s happened rises to the level of “genocide,” in terms of some people’s definition, it’s a horrific situation.

White farmers face violence, stalking, kidnapping, and torture. It doesn’t stop there; many Boers have been murdered by crazed racists with this sick ideology  as well.

Does it even matter so much whether what is happening qualifies as “genocide” or not, or whether it’s state-sanctioned or not?

Whatever you want to call this situation in South Africa, Boer farmers are dying, their land is being stolen, and they are being targeted for extermination.

Perhaps this is just an early stage in a larger-scale genocide that is yet to unfold.

Boers Were Placed In Concentration Camps In the Past

In the Second Boer War, back at the start of the twentieth century, over 100,000 Boer civilians, not just including women and children, but a contingent being comprised of mostly women and children, were forcibly “relocated” to concentration camps.

The Boers were also stalked and destroyed with great precision. British troops systematically  swept the countryside destroying crops, poisoning wells, burning homesteads and farms, and interning Boer and African men, women, children, and workers in concentration camps.

Over 25,000 Boers lost their lives,  mostly due to starvation and disease. And so, this group has been the target of extreme bias in its past, and has a history of persecution.

What Does Genocide Even Mean?

Let’s look at what the Oxford English Dictionary defines as Genocide:

“the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.”

Okay; what constitutes a “large number”?

Surely, that is the only matter to be contested, as clearly, there are people in South Africa, people of color, who want the White Boer farmers dead, and seek to steal their land.

The term “genocide” was coined in the twentieth century.
A Jewish lawyer from Poland named  Raphael Lemkin came up with the term in 1944, obviously considering what was happening in Europe at the time.
The root of the word “genocide” comes from the Greek “genos” meaning “race,” and the English suffix, “cide,” indicating death.
From all appearances, what a stadium full of people were calling for was an expansion of –and not the start of– of an ongoing ethnic purification against the Boers.
And so, were large numbers of farmers killed? What is the precise number? Does anyone know?
The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide does not state a specific number, but what’s happening in South Africa does seem to qualify, based on what is defined.

A Grand Sandbagging, Maybe Best Ever

Usually, I hate sandbagging. Why? It’s usually done in the spirit of maliciousness and viciousness.

But the South African President was sandbagged in a manner that was all good and totally right on.

Does the world agree?

Sadly, media outlets more to the Left seem to be downplaying  claims of “White Genocide” with regard to the matter being addressed in the Oval Office.

While the term “genocide” to describe the atrocities in S. Africa has not been “approved” by many media outlets, nevertheless, many White Boer farmers have been killed at the hands of Black South Africans spouting bias and hate. That much cannot be contested by any source or “side.”

So, either way, it’s a travesty. However, the same media outlets never actually get to that part.

Fact-Checkers and Language Monitors Miss the Point

There were also widespread fact-checking-type articles regarding an art installation of crosses representing the deaths and ongoing travesty that may have been misidentified as a grave site of White farmers.

In the end, these are minor details, and just demonstrate that the Leftist media’s claim that the Right is biased and they are not, is patently false.

In fact, any news outlet, presenter, or “influencer” positing they are “to the Left” or “to the Right” is inherently biased. Face it.

The “Party of Helping the Downtrodden,” the Democrats, want to mince words about whether the widespread hate and bias, violence and death, against White Boer farmers, mostly very poor working people, is a “genocide” or not, because it’s not on a massive enough scale, misses the point.

These same news outlets bring up facts like how White people constitute under ten percent of the population, yet own over 70% of the wealth in South Africa.

In fact, this upper class of White people (and also those of other ethnicities and backgrounds) is not the same group as the poor Boer White farmers!

That’s like grouping the owner of Berkshire-Hathaway with a White guy living in a Section 8 home in the Harbor, and blaming the guy in the Harbor for the stock market.

It’s insensible.

Yes; they’re both White, but the similarities and overlapping aspects end there!

Again, major media misses the point.

Ramaphosa Responds

The South African President defended his country, stating that they enjoy freedom of speech, and those rallies are of an opposition party that is not widely supported.

It is true that in the U.S. we allow slimy people like the K.K.K. to parade through our cities and towns. We value Free Speech so highly we tolerate this.

But they don’t kill Black folks. Well, not anymore! If they did, the F.B.I. would surely be on the case. And, the case would be solved.

And, we have Hate Speech laws. I don’t think this would fly here in the Good Old U.S.A.

The difference is, in South Africa, these people affiliated with this hate party do enact violence against their target group of hate, White Boer farmers.

And the claim is, the government does nothing when the people’s homes and land are occupied and stolen, and the White farmers beaten or murdered.

Consequently, President Trump has opened a channel for refugees to immigrate here from South Africa.

Whether or not this meeting will change much in South Africa remains to be seen, however, it’s commendable that President Trump chose to break silence about this ongoing humanitarian crisis.

I like Jesse, also. He’d fit right in. Understands chain-of-command. Is into learning about the conspiracies. He’s his own man but knows his place. I wish we could get J.V. into the Trump team somehow. That would be wild. I don’t think Elon would behave so….*ahem*….ummm….much like he had if Jesse had been around. He is a sobering force for sure!

I am not sure. I can’t get a good take on this. Every view point is skewed so far to one side.

I think it’s just that the victims here are white and the oppressors black. They have an idea about racism that it only goes one way but they don’t talk about class. The left is full of it. Their take on everything is through an ivory tower.
This is racism. The video is clearly racism.
Racism is for losers. So why does the progressive media support this instance of racism and clear bias?

Either way, I think Elon should be thinking about his health. I think the pressure he puts himself under is too much. Why????????????

If he DOES take psychedelics and drugs like K and E(X) and shrooms, he should have the balls to come out publicly and defend this drug use and stand up against dumb laws that oppress his fellow Americans.

After all, this sort of thing shouldn’t even be a crime. Unless he operated a vehicle. I assume a guy like him has chauffeurs, anyway.

This is a positive move by the president. No way can this be bad. I’m actually not for K K K rallies or things like that either. Free speech is amazing but that is criminal. They meet and plot crimes. What else you call that?

        • Avatar sm0ki/\/ /\/\uch Tr33z says:

That is a good discussion-starter for a Constitutional Law college class.

Should the KKK be permitted to meet?

I think when they are plotting anything beyond private cross burning and keg parties (which are legal) they usually get infiltrated by the FBI pronto. But can the FBI do it every time? And get to the problem in time? What if they don’t? What if people get hurt because we let them meet???

It’s a slippery slope to authoritarianism. So, for now, I think all meetings and rallies should be permitted. Even if they are for evil things. The First Amendment is important to honor. But I sure hope they watch these guys.

        • Avatar Ida says:

KKK does not meet and plot crimes. That was a century ago. From what I’ve seen on Vice TV and such they’re just middle-aged white men drinking beer and talking about how great the white race is. Just like any other race in private, man. Be real. It’s BS talk for the most part.

But the Africans in that video are are not the same. They say kill the farmer and then go out and do just that very thing. Imagine having neighbors like that? That’s what the Israeli kibbutz farmers had to deal with. Some did die on Oct 7. At the hands of neighbors who chanted that they wanted them all gone. How is this different?

        • Avatar Lemondrop35 says:

Yeah Paul…wake up. This is called: politics. This isn’t CCD class. You be steady acting like you are unaware this the real world and that’s just how things be. The Dems don’t want to upset their voter base by going against the BLACKS in S Africa bc then ppl will say they racist. But you and I know that isn’t about that. It doesn’t matter what color the people chanting in those stadiums are. That has to stop. What I hear is downright wrong. Anyone with morals should know this. A five year old should. There’s a festering hate down there is S.A. No denying it. Right now this happens to be BLACK people hating DUTCH BOERS…the WHITE people. If the situation had been reversed that would be just as wrong! Hate is hate. Love is love. Those rallies are dangerous. Should they be permitted? I don’t think so. Allowing that hate crosses a line of inciting people to riot…to violence…to murder even! WT*!!! I was raised in the idea of being color blind.

      • Avatar DumDum#914144132578 says:

Those people in the WH video are wack as f***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are like jogging in place going ‘brrrrrrrrrrrr pop pop’ and making a gun with their fingers. About the dumbest crap I’ve ever seen. It would be hilarious if those same people weren’t out actually killing others. That makes the whole s*** really disturbing, instead.

But for real. What kind of low IQ, low potential rally was that? I mean, that was embarrassing. I’m surprised the Boers ever end up losing to those fools.

        • Avatar Let's Play some Baseball, yo... says:

Such people who attend those rallies must be the worst of the worst people in their communities. No way is that EVERYONE who lives there. It’s a small percentage. Still, it’s a lot of people.

That rally seemed so lame. I laughed so hard watching them do that jogging thing. Wackos!

I wold feel so stupid doing that.

I am not really into Trump or the trade reset. But I do like that they are attending to this.

The poor farmers have no say in how their country gets governed. Whatever went on is South Africa, and I’m sure it was worse than we could ever know, the farmers were just peasants, really. The upper class is all different races in South Africa. I even have (distant) relatives there with so much wealth, they make the rich people in S. Africa look poor. Blame those in government. Blame those in industry and commerce. But how can you blame the farmers?

        • Avatar CONCERNED IN INDIANA says:

THEY HAVE NAMES. NAME THEIR NAMES! WHO THE F*** ARE THESE RACIST PO* LOSERS IN S.A.?

          ANYONE KNOW? ELON? ANYONE?

NAME THEIR NAMES. THEY ARE THE RACIST SWINE.

        • Avatar Randy Owens says:

They do shoot the Boors like they say. Its not just idle boasting talk. They mean it. All of it.
Anyway, talk like that inevitably becomes real. Even if it started out as just an idea.

        • Avatar Raymond says:

Idiocy. Pure idiocy. I mean..c’mon…can’t they even come up with a decent chant or some beats or music? Not like i want to give those racist knuckleheads any ideas! lol Racism and bias is plain dumb any race on any race. Bless pres. Trump. He is truly a good man.

        • Avatar Elephantitis of the ***** says:

losers can’t even dance or chant

surprised they ever win a battle

        • Avatar .. says:

All it takes is running up behind the poor farmer and it’s goodbye!!! Wretched! You think it’s ever a fair fight? NO WAY

I am the first to acknowledge the evils of segregation times in South Africa. I actually have relatives there. Cousins. Among the top-earning families, apparently. 😐

But at the same time no people should gather to gleefully simulate violence directed at some other group. That SHOULD be considered illegal under present law in S.A. but….????

Anyway, my distant relatives worked hard for generations doing what they do. Did being white help? ? ? ? ?
          Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
          I am not so sure.
They succeeded where others failed, including all the other then-privileged white folks. And there were black-owned companies. And now blacks are moving into the corporate world in S.A. There really is a ladder to the good life now for all!!

But there were squalid ghettos for whites and black in the past. Mostly not a nice place. Elon can tell you. A little nice, a lot messed up.

      • Avatar Justin says:

CCD class? Hector, how old are you, anyway?!!

        • Avatar Boomer Billy says:

Yo check out the dude Hector put a pic on his account now.

When he posted this one, he had no photo. Good guess that he is just a know it all kid!

I’d guess he’s not old enough to even drink.. ha ha hah

College snob. I can tell by how he talks. He’s got no common sense at all.

        • Avatar Gravey Train says:

if he’s not old enough to vote I say he shut up his own mouth now

        • Avatar spare me the bulls*** says:

I mean, look at the user’s pic. A college genius. 😐

  • Avatar T.R. says:

100% behind the S African farmers.

Anyone have any (legit) charities that serve the poor of S Africa?

(Need not be only white poor in fact I’d prefer a group that serves all peoples that are poor)

    • Avatar S..T..A..M..P......C..O..L..L..E..C.T.O.R says:

That’s not how you donate, friend.
      Do the research yourself.
Check out books and videos on donating.
      Seriously…
Or, you will just give your money to a scam artist or ineffectual people who mean well but can’t get much done.

    • Avatar MAGA FOREVER says:

South Africa looks actually a lot like Germany before the Nazis started really messing with the Jews and other hated groups big time.
These are the early warning signs!
People can’t get together and rally like this for the sole cause of hate! That is socially deteriorating activity!!!

I’ve heard people comment that Trump rallies look a lot like Hitler rallies. How so?! They are off by a lot.

These South African rallies truly are like Germany was!
People should take a look and see what hate looks like in 2025. It’s in South Africa not the US.

Will the Lefty media admit that, though?

      WAKE UP! Occupy S.A. NOW!

      MAGA FOREVER

The poor farmers have no say in how their country gets governed. Whatever went on is South Africa, and I’m sure it was worse than we could ever know, the farmers were just peasants, really. The upper class is all different races in South Africa. Pretoria. It’s really Just like NYC. I even have (distant) relatives in S.A. with so much wealth, they make most of the rich people in S. Africa look poor by comparison. I think they were more responsible for the apartheid than the poor farmers, even if they didn’t advocate for that and basically did nothing to stop it, either.

Blame those in government. Blame those in industry and commerce. Blame the movers and shakers in S.Africa. Blame the people who were in charge for letting that go on.

But how can you blame the farmers? They were and are poor. And the companies in S.A.are now hiring a lot of black folks in executive role so there isn’t really an issue. It is like DEI on steroids. Whatever. That’s that nation’s business. Not mine.

The point is, there is a way up for black youth now. Why involve the farmers at all? And then stealing their land? Shame on those people for that rally and what they go out and do afterwards. Disgusting.

  • Avatar Bobby the Boxer says:

That little dance-in-place routine these fat muthaf*****s are doing while shouting to kill the poor farmers had me in stitches. I need to call my surgeon now bc I think I literally got a f****** hernia. I wish I could fight any of those losers. It would be fun slowly beating the scrap out of them in 16 rounds! 😛

I do not support that agenda25 that the Christian far right is pushing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to think Trump has the brains and heart to resist all these clown side shows but I now wonder if any man can fix the world. I sure hope so. We need c change and a change for the better not for the worst!!!!!

Trump is looking good these days. I am happy with his performance. I feel bad for the guy. He has to deal with all these mamones and fools. I think the ral estate world was more fun. But, Trump has job he’s doing. I appreciate the fun life he gave up to deal with alllll this crap

””Drawn into a meeting seeking a better trade deal with the U.S. after the White House “housed” the world (or was it “hosed”?), resetting our terms of trade with all international trade partners, Ramaphosea probably wasn’t expecting what happened next.”””’

This is too colloquial a tone for this sort of reporting for any place but Staten Island. hah hah hah I guess out here I’m the only one who even notices.

And then, not only do the staff writers choose a verb that is slang, but go through the trouble of including parenthesis for yet another slang term to further clarify.

Only on Staten Island. *smh* I love it.
