Bayonne Announces This Year’s Summer Sounds By The Bay Concert Series Featuring Music From Decades Past

Bayonne Division of Recreation Announces the 2025 Summer Sounds by the Bay Concert Series

Editor’s note: We covered this summer free concert series several times in the past, including last year’s events. 

The Bayonne Division of Recreation has announced the 2025 Summer Sounds by the Bay Concert Series. Weather permitting, each performance will begin promptly on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm at the amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park, which is located between Avenue A and Newark Bay. The concerts are scheduled for Wednesdays from June 25 through August 20, with August 27 as a rain date. Pete Amadeo, Superintendent of Recreation, said, “For over thirty years, the Summer Sounds by the Bay has been a town favorite in the park during the summer. It provides great music in a great setting.” Amadeo continued, “We are ready for a great summer. We have a great lineup of music, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone enjoying the summer nights.”

June 25 – The Beginnings: This American Chicago tribute from NYC delivers the world’s most authentic live Chicago concert experience. Performing in Chicago’s original classic-era, seven-piece configuration, without the aid of backing tracks or additional musicians, Beginnings has been stunning audiences all over North America for 20 years!

July 9 – AM GOLD YACHT ROCK: They are the best tribute band performing adult-contemporary hit songs from the mid-1970s through the mid-1980s. Artists covered include Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Huey Lewis, Christopher Cross, Lionel Richie, and many more! Coming at you hard and ready to get the party started!

July 16- Soul Machine: Performing the Top 40s, Yacht Rock, R&B and Motown! A night of dancing and singing! Be ready for a memorable night!

July 23– Iconic Women of Rock: The show is a high-energy, electrifying tribute to legendary female artists, featuring a dynamic, genre-spanning setlist that captivates audiences of all ages and leaves them singing along every time. It’s a celebration of strong, trailblazing women!

July 30 – Fleetwood Macked: Fleetwood Macked, the ultimate tribute to Fleetwood Mac, is a New York-based band. Hailed as the most authentic Fleetwood Mac tribute band in the U.S., much of the realism comes from the band’s history. Husband and wife musical team Hillary and Michael (Stevie and Lindsey ) and friends Caroline, Jay, Phil and Andrew (Christine, John and Mick), that have made great music together in various incarnations finally all came together with their mutual love of Fleetwood Mac. All the members of Fleetwood Macked are and have always been professional, touring Rock musicians, which also adds to the authenticity of the sound of the band. Fleetwood Macked live brings the passion, depth, heart and the musicianship Fleetwood Mac’s music requires. Whether performing the Rumours album in its entirety or a decade’s show featuring Fleetwood Mac’s hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today, every performance transports audiences to another time and place.

August 6 – ARENA – RELIVE THE ROCK: ARENA Relive The Rock is the hottest arena rock tribute music experience. Relive the songs that filled arenas. Capturing the big sound and power of some of the Greatest Rock Bands of our time. Boston, Journey, Kansas, Heart, Pat Benatar, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Rush, Foreigner – just to name a few.

August 13 – We May Be Right! Billy Joel Tribute: Powerhouse ensemble We May Be Right delivers an electrifying performance wowing audiences of all ages as they authentically re-create the music of one the greatest Rock and Roll Keyboard Players, “Piano Man” Billy Joel. A New York City Skyline sets the backdrop with the band delivering hit after hit along with some of Billy’s best deep cuts. Night after night We May Be Right brings the audience to their feet and gets them singing along to all the classics!

August 20– Super Trans AM: Super Trans Am is a unique and innovative theme band, playing all of your favorite arena anthems and chart-topping radio hits of the 1970’s. Combining unparalleled musicianship with artistic and inspired A/V production, you’ll enjoy revisiting classic singalongs from one of the most definable decades in American history.
August 27 – This will be a rain date, if needed.
