New York City Transit is hiring skilled tradespeople!
Editor’s note: According to MTA’s website, the positions listed below are union eligible positions. This entitles the employee to certain benefits and raises, which include healthcare during one’s working life as well as into retirement. The retirement healthcare option for TWU100 is a Medicare Advantage type plan, as this union has workers both in the city and the state, so they are covered by the state’s requirements rather than the city. So while the City still has traditional Medicare available during retirement, paid by the city, this union has negotiated a premium-free Advantage plan managed by Aetna.
Join us for a special event focused on recruiting skilled trades professionals who help maintain and improve New York’s transit infrastructure. This is your opportunity to connect with our hiring team, explore open positions, and participate in same-day assessment.
We’re hiring for roles that keep our stations safe, functional, and structurally sound, including carpenters, masons, plumbers, ironworkers, and electric fan and pump technicians.
Submit your application to be considered for an in-person assessment.
