Local Pols To Announce New Inter-Agency Task Force To Combat Car Thefts, Residential Crime On Staten Island

The task force presumably is still being formed, we are awaiting the public announcement to be rescheduled in the future.
District Attorney Michael E. McMahon, NYPD Chief of Department Maddrey, NYPD Chief of Patrol Chell, & Local Officials Announce New Inter-Agency Task Force to Combat Car Thefts, Residential Crime
On Friday, January 27th at 3:30pm, District Attorney Michael E. McMahon, NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey B. Maddrey, NYPD Chief of Patrol John M. Chell, NYPD Deputy Chief Tania Kinsella, local NYPD brass, and Staten Island elected officials will announce the creation of an inter-agency task force to combat car thefts and other residential crime which has recently spiked on Staten Island.
The group will also address updates on investigations into recent crime patterns, as well as new initiatives and approaches being taken by law enforcement to keep Staten Islanders safe in their homes. The announcement will directly follow a closed-door meeting in District Attorney McMahon’s office at 130 Stuyvesant Place, Staten Island, New York 10301.
