BP Fossella to Unveil New Hot Air Balloon, Rocket Launcher Exhibits at Petrides Hall of Science
Editor’s note: BP Fossella honored Monsignor Farrell’s high school wrestling team who were the 2025 Catholic High School Wrestling Champions. BP Fossella also raised concerns over the BESS unit that is being developed in the heart of Manor Heights.
Staten Island, NY – Borough President Vito Fossella, DOE Chief School Operations Officer Kevin Moran, and Principal Anthony Tabbitas of the Michael J. Petrides School will unveil two new science exhibits in the Borough President’s Hall of Science during a press conference there on Thursday, May 29th at 12:00 PM.
The Borough President’s Hall of Science at the Michael J. Petrides School is a unique center for student learning and creativity, featuring a variety of exemplary engineering structures. Each exhibit features an educational component, and a practical, hands-on component, offering a variety of approaches for students to learn about scientific concepts.
Borough President Fossella will introduce two additional, brand-new exhibits that his office funded – an interactable Hot Air Balloon, and a rocket launch platform.
